Limerick U20 Football team to face Tipperary named

The Limerick team to face Tipperary in the Munster Under 20 Football Championship has been named.

Tipperary entertain Limerick on Thursday evening at 7.30pm with the ticket allocation of 500 sold out within hours.

Brian Foley captains the side from corner forward and is one of three players in their third year at the level.

There are seven players who started Limerick’s semi-final loss to Kerry in the competition last February named in the XV.

This will be the U20’s third year in a row facing Tipperary at this stage of the competition with Limerick winning the previous two by a point.

The winners of the tie will face either Waterford or Clare in the semi-final with Cork and Kerry on the other side of the draw.
