Earlier this week we asked the Limerick public to tell us what their favourite Limerick games of the past 20 years were.
From the list of games we were told we compiled a list of the Top 16 which will battle it out to be crowned the counties favourite game this century.
Our Top 16 Bracket was released on Saturday and can be seen here.
Over the last four days we had our eight Last-16 ties with the winners of those found here.
Now we will look at the quarter finals!
Our second quarter-final pits the drawn 2018 Munster Championship clash with Cork against the 2007 All-Ireland semi-final against Waterford.
The 2018 clash with Cork is the only remaining game that did not see Limerick win.
However, that draw in the revamped Pairc Ui Chaoimh made the nation stand up and take note of John Kiely’s youthful side.
Down to 14 men for fifty minutes, Limerick led the reigning Munster champions down the home stretch before a string of Rebel scores put the home side ahead.
Yet, there was time for some late drama as Kyle Hayes levelled before a brilliant Sean Finn block on Seamus Harnedy’s last second strike sealed a share of the spoils.
On the other side is Limerick’s classic 2007 All-Ireland semi-final win over Waterford in Croke Park.
Limerick were huge underdogs coming into the game after losing to the same opposition by nine points in the Munster final just a couple of months previously.
Early goals from Donie Ryan and Andrew O’Shaughnessy set the tone for the win with Ryan, O’Shaughnessy and Brian Begley sealing the deal in the second despite a strong comeback from the Déise.
It set up Limerick’s first All-Ireland semi-final appearance since 1996.
