LISTEN: The Breakdown Podcast S02E02 with Sporting Limerick & Three Red Kings

Munster turned in a fine attacking display agains their French hosts at the weekend it wasn’t enough to put the group to bed. We take a closer look at what Johann van Graan’s side right and why the seemingly lost their way it the closing minutes.

South African second row Gerbrandt Grobler made his competitive debut last weekend in the B&I Cup but the narrative was dominated by questions about whether Munster should have signed the forward who previously served a two year ban for doping. We discuss some of the media coverage and the concept of athletes having a second chance post a doping offence.

Finally with Castres on the horizon we look ahead to a huge weekend at Thomond Park and the possibility of knowing by lunchtime on Sunday afternoon if a home quarter final is attainable.
