LISTEN: Treaty Talk S02E11 with Sporting Limerick and Matt O’Callaghan

With Summer finally starting to peek out from under the covers, attention turns to the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship which has undergone some much needed structural changes following some lopsided games last year.

We look at both groups and assess the teams chances heading into the opening round. The football championship is also begining to take shape and after two rounds, some are sitting pretty, others maybe content while some are already looking over their shoulders. We discuss the lay of the land after two rounds.

It was a disappointing week for the minor footballers who bowed out of the championship following defeats to Clare and Tipperary but who were competitive in both games and can count themselves somewhat unlucky not to have beaten Tipp.

All that plus a look ahead to the ladies football side who contest a league semi final against Louth in Portarlington on Sunday afternoon.
