Munster Player of the Year Nominees

Munster Player and Academy Player of the Year nominees.

Munster Rugby have announced their Player of the Year nominees for the 2016/17 season.

Fly-half Tyler Bleyendaal, prop John Ryan and hooker Niall Scannell have all been nominated by their fellow team-mates for the Munster Rugby Senior Player of the Year award.

The Senior Player of the Year winner will be announced at the 2017 Munster Rugby Awards which take place on  May 4 at the Maryborough Hotel in Cork.

Past winners of the award include James Coughlan, John Hayes, Mick O’Driscoll, Ronan O’Gara, Donnacha Ryan, Tommy O’Donnell, Conor Murray and CJ Stander, who has won the award twice.

Munster Rugby have all announced their Academy Player of the Year nominees. The three players nominated are Brian Scott, Dan Goggin and Conor Oliver.
