Helpless Treviso were put to the sword in Irish Independant Park as last seasons runners up Munster picked up a 34-3 opening night win.
In the absence of Conor Murray, Simon Zebo and Keith Earls among others, Munster ran in four first half tries courtesy of Alex Wotton, Andrew Conway, Tyler Blyendaal and Darren Sweetnam.

In a totally one-sided affair, South African Jean Kleyn completed the scoring for Munster in the second half with a brace of tries.
