After 9 weeks of pre season Munster play their first game against Worcester on Thursday.
Rassie Erasmus is set to name his squad to face Worcester on Wednesday, a day before the game at Sixways. It’s Munster’s first match of the pre season having played Connacht in a training game last week.
New signings James Hart, Gerbrandt Grobler and Chris Farrell all made their first appearances for the province.

Through pre season a number of club players have been involved with the squad including Shannon’s Ronan Coffey, Trinity’s Tom Ryan, Clontarf’s Max McFarland and Dolphin’s James Rochford.
Things are getting even busier this week with CJ Stander and Rassie Erasmus attending the Guinness Pro 14 launch in Dublin on Wednesday. After their summer exploits with the Lions; Stander, Peter O’Mahony and Conor Murray will begin their preseason programmes this week after a well deserved extended break.

With regards to player recruitment, Munster have signed former England Under 20 and Sale Sharks tighthead prop Ciaran Parker on a one year development contract to help improve their depth in that position. 21 year old Parker was part of the Sale team that played against Munster in their 2015 Champions Cup loss at Thomond Park.
