Munster to face Connacht in Pre-Season outing at the Showgrounds

Munster’s first pre-season game is three-and-a-half weeks away as Leinster visit Musgrave Park on Friday, September 8.

A third pre-season fixture has been confirmed for the Munster men with Graham Rowntree’s side to face Connacht in Galway on Friday, September 22, at 5.30pm.

Munster’s first pre-season game is three-and-a-half weeks away as Leinster visit Musgrave Park on Friday, September 8, with a 6pm kick-off. Over 7,000 tickets have already been snapped up, buy the final tickets here.

Munster visit Galway for the second pre-season fixture against Connacht before taking on the Barbarians in a double-header at Thomond Park on Saturday, September 30. The games will be Munster’s first outings at Thomond Park in over six months.

The Limerick venue is set for a festival of rugby with the Munster Women kicking the action off against the Barbarians Women at 2pm with the men’s game starting at 4.30pm.

The URC season kicks off against the Sharks at Thomond Park on Saturday, October 21, at 5.15pm.
