REPORT: 2020 All Star Awards set for Saturday week

Despite the unfortunate news that the 2021 season will be further postponed, The Irish Examiner are reporting that the 2020 All Star awards will take place on Saturday 20 February.

The Awards will be shown live on RTE over the course of 90 minutes with a mixture of studio and online interviews.

The Limerick faithful will have a vested interest in the awards with 14 hurlers and Iain Corbett nominated for All-Star gongs.

Limerick’s Gearoid Hegarty is on the three-man shortlist for Hurler of the Year alongside Tony Kelly and Stephen Bennett.
