Round Up | Monagea two for two as they look to retain Limerick Ladies Senior Football Championship

The second round of fixtures in the Ladies Football Championship took place over the weekend.

Defending champions Monagea look the team to beat once again in this year’s Limerick Ladies Senior Football Championship as they made it successive wins against St. Brigids. A three goal cushion was more than enough to ensure them of the win.

Last year’s finalists Ballylanders secured a narrow one-point win for over Feohanagh Castlemahon in the other group while Intermediate champions Dromcollogher Broadford picked up a first win in the top tier with a 1-7 to 0-7 win against last year’s semi-finalists Old Mill.

Oola got off the mark in the Intermediate Championship while Athea and Galtee Gaels continued their winning starts to the Junior Championship.
