Rowntree shuffles his side for Exeter Chiefs clash | Munster Team News

The Munster Head Coach has made a number of changes to the side that slumped to a draw at home to Bayonne last week.

The Munster team has been named for Sunday’s Investec Champions Cup clash against Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park, kick-off at 1pm live on TNT Sports and ITV.

Graham Rowntree has shuffled his team, as he makes six personnel changes and three positional switches to the side that slumped to a draw at home to Bayonne last week.

Shane Daly, Antoine Frisch and Craig Casey come into the backline with Diarmuid Barron, Stephen Archer and Jack O’Donoghue starting in the pack.

Calvin Nash starts on the wing, having lined out at full-back last week, while Gavin Coombes goes from no.8 to the second row, with Alex Nankivell moving to inside centre.

Seán O’Brien starts on the wing, with Frisch partnering Nankivell in midfield, while Casey comes into the side at scrum-half to partner Jack Crowley.

Jeremy Loughman, Barron and Archer pack down in the front row with Coombes and captain Tadhg Beirne in the engine room.

Tom Ahern, John Hodnett and O’Donoghue complete the side.

Fineen Wycherley was unavailable for selection after picking up a knock in training, joining Peter O’Mahony and Edwin Edogbo on the injury list.
