Joy at LIT as Scrum for Axel enters record books.
The students of the Limerick Institute of Technology set a new Guinness World Record yesterday for the largest scrum in the world ever.
The world record was set for the #scrumforaxel campaign which was set up in memory of former Ireland and Munster player and Munster Director of Rugby Anthony Foley.
A massive crowd of over 2000 people turned up the event, which was brilliantly organised by students of the Limerick college.
A fantastic achievement and congratulations to everyone involved.
