St Munchins defeated by PBC the Schools Senior Cup semi-final

Presentation Brothers College were too good for Limerick natives St Munchins in Senior Cup semi-final today.

PBC are into the semi-finals of the Munster Senior Schools Cup after beating St Munchins 31-12 today in Musgrave Park.

PBC were 21-0 clear at the half.

The Cork side started as they meant to go in scoring their first try just three and a half minutes in. After ten minutes, off a lineout set piece they boosted that lead to 14-0.

At the half hour mark PBC had their third with their advantage 21-0 at the interval.

At the start of the second half Munchins conceded down the wing a second time going down 26-0.

Munchins reacted brilliantly and got on the board themselves in the corner with their first try. The Limerick side had their second quickly after to reduced the deficit to thirteen.

However it wasn’t to be Munchins day following PBC’s last try making the final score 31-12 in their favour as they move into the Senior Cup semi-final.
