A repeat of the 2020 Limerick SHC final is the pick of the weekend’s action as the hurling championships return after a three week break.
The Limerick Hurling Championships take centre stage this weekend with a full round of fixtures in the top four tiers.
In the Senior Championship, the standout tie pits Na Piarsaigh against Doon in a repeat of the 2020 and 2018 county finals. Both come into the game with identical records. Kilmallock have Kildimo Pallaskenry for company with the sides occupying first and last in group one respectively. On Saturday, Patrickswell and Ahane face off with both winning one and losing one of their first pair of contests.

In group two, unbeaten Adare and Mungret St Pauls meet in a crucial clash while Ballybrown will look to stay undefeated when they take on pointless South Liberties. Garryspillane meet Monaleen in the other senior tie.
In the Intermediate championship, Bruff are the only perfect side remaining and they meet Dromin Athlacca where another win will probably be enough for a semi-final spot with three rounds to play. The pick of the bunch is arguably the meeting of Na Piarsaigh and Blackrock who are both on four points.
Elsewhere, there is a full set of fixtures in the intermediate and junior championships kicking off on Thursday.
