The win all the better following Clontarf’s loss to Lansdowne last night as Garryowen extend their lead in 4th spot to 4 points.
Liam Cronin started off the scoring in the dying stages of the first half for the light blues with his brother Neil converting to give garryowen a 7-0 advantage.
Neil Cronin added a penalty after the break to make it a two score game before Diarmuid Barron went over to sure up the precious 4 points away from home.

While elsewhere in the division Young Munster keep their top 4 hopes alive following a late Gavin Coombs try they saw off Cork Con 15-11 at Tom Clifford Park. They remain 4 points adrift of Limerick rivals Garryowen – while third spot Cork Con have now been pulled back into a playoff scrap.
The sides went into the interval level at 3 points a piece as outhalf Shane Airey got Munsters off the mark.
