WATCH: A display for the ages as Limerick retain their All-Ireland title

Limerick retained their All-Ireland title for the first time yesterday as they defeated Cork 3-32 to 1-22 in Croke Park yesterday.

Inside three minutes, both sides had raised green flags with Gearoid Hegarty and Shane Kingston trading goals.

But from here Limerick were irresistible, racking up 3-18 in the first half to take a 13 point lead into the half.

That put the game beyond doubt as John Kiely’s juggernaut rolled to a 16-point victory and a third All-Ireland title in four years.
