Croom have reached the semi final of the Munster Club Junior Football Championship following an 0-8 to 0-6 win over Waterford’s Ballyduff Lower in Bruff yesterday.
The south Limerick club were full value for the victory, with corner forward Mark O’Kelly top scoring with 0-3.
Veteran former Limerick defender Mark O’Riordan also put in a stunning performance in the win that sees them set up a last four fixture against Tipperary’s Mullinahone next weekend.
Following the win, selector and player, Stephen Lucey spoke to Sporting Limerick about bouncing back from the county final defeat to Monaleen and the win over Ballyduff.
