WATCH: Late comer Ambrose thankful for team support

Having only joined the team after her Leaving Certificate, Roisin Ambrose could have thought that she may ruffle a few feathers when brought into the fold by manager John Ryan.

However, that was the complete opposite of her experience as she was helped and guided along by some of the veteran members of the Limerick Ladies Gaelic Football panel. Ambrose highlighted the support she received from the night of her first training session.

“I only joined the panel after the leaving cert so I was coming into a bunch of girls that I didn’t know but from the very minute I stepped foot on that pitch in Banogue, they were so supportive of me.

“Always helping me with my game, telling me how I could improve and for this to be the end result, it’s absolutely unreal.”
