WATCH: Limerick Minor Manager Diarmuid Mullins says “there won’t be much in it” ahead of Munster decider

Limerick welcome Ttipperary to the LIT Gaelic Grounds this Sunday in the 2020 Munster Minor Hurling Final.

Defending champions Limerick are once again under the tutelage of Diarmuid Mullins who guided them to a first provincial success in five years last summer.

They meet a Tipp team who overcame Waterford last Saturday a couple of hours after Limerick disposed of Cork in Semple Stadium.

Such is the pedigree of the Tipp side, Mullins says there should be little to choose between the sides.

“I don’t think there will be much in it.”

Limerick hurling is on the crest of a wave following John Kiely’s sides second All-Ireland final win in three years last Sunday and Mullins says that this current crop of minors are aspiring to follow in those esteemed footsteps.

“We are just trying to ensure that that the players coming through will be players at the senior level in the future. They are looking up to the current senior guys and seeing how they are performing. There is ambition in our squad to join that group in 4/5 years and that’s the plan.”
