WATCH: Na Piarsaigh manager Michéal Ryan reflects on win over Doon

On Saturday evening Na Piarsaigh qualified for the semi-finals of the Limerick SHC courtesy of a 3-24 to 3-12 win over Doon.

That result meant Na Piarsaigh finished second in the table, level on points with Patrickswell.

For manager Micheal Ryan, it was a case of job done in Kilmallock.

“That’s what we came here to do today. We’re now into knockout hurling and for the group, it was important to get the win tonight.”

Na Piarsaigh have gone three from three since the return of the championship, with the their style of play garnering a lot of praise.

For Ryan, that style of play compliments the players at his disposal.

“Your style of play is definitely dictated by the panel of players you have. A lot of these guys are working inside with Limerick and it has worked exceptionally well for them and their close hurling is of the highest order.”
