WATCH: “This year its Limerick’s!” JP McManus issues rallying call to Hurlers

Limerick sponsor JP McManus has issued a rallying call to John Kiely’s squad ahead of this Sunday’s All-Ireland Hurling Final.

McManus has been a hug factor in Limerick’s recent success and says the county were “lonely” without Liam MacCarthy for the past 12 months.

As such, he is confident that the side can deliver and bring home the goods on Sunday!

“Firstly I’d like to congratulate Limerick on their great win in the Munster final and also on winning the league title but we are going for the big one on Sunday and we got a bit lonely without Liam MacCarthy last year! So hopefully, and I know ye will bring it back on Sunday.

“Meeting Waterford in an All-Ireland sounds strange and a little unusual. I don’t believe it has ever happened. Waterford are in the All-Ireland only for one reason, because they deserve to be.

“As a Limerick person, if Limerick weren’t in it we would be cheering for Waterford. I am sorry Waterford, not his year, this year its Limerick’s.”
