WATCH: Van Graan hails “world class” Tadhg Beirne after Ospreys victory

Munster continued their excellent Pro14 form with a 19-13 victory against the Ospreys at Liberty Stadium last Friday.

The win keeps Munster ahead of Glasgow Warriors at the top of Conference A. Head coach Johann van Graan was delighted to keep the fine run going.

He hailed the impact that Tadhg Beirne made in the game after he left Irish camp to replace the ill Jean Kleyn.

“He only got there at 9 O’clock so we literally had a walk through on Friday morning with him.

“That’s the sign of a world class player, coming in, not training with the team, walking through a few lineouts.

“There was so many things between attack and defence, go through a whole play sheet and where he fits in.

“To deliver that performance is pretty special.”
