WATCH: Van Graan on lifting the spirits of the Irish players when they return

Munster head coach Johann van Graan says that it will be a challenge to lift the spirits of the Irish players that will return to the province in the coming weeks.

Ireland exited the World Cup at the quarter final stage after a comprehensive defeat to New Zealand last week.

“We have had 12 players away at the World Cup and first and foremost it’s about their health and to make sure that they are mentally and physically ready to go for what’s going to be a very tough block for all.

“Thirteen weeks in a row up until the back end of January with some pretty big games coming up.”

Van Graan also spoke about the arrival of new forwards coach Graham Rowntree in the coming weeks. Click below to watch the full interview.
