WATCH: Van Graan speaks about managing his squad and the contract extensions

Munster face into what could be a season defining block of games over the holiday period starting with their Champions Cup clash with Castres at Thomond Park on Sunday.

Ahead of that game, Head Coach Johann van Graan has been speaking about managing the squad in conjunction with the IRFU. The South African also commented on the 12 new contract extensions announced by the province this week.

“I’m very happy. Great that guys want to stay at Munster. Guys that want to contribute and guys that believe in our dream that we have here.  I said from the beginning that it’s important that people are happy and the fact that so many guys have already re-signed shows that they are happy.

“Quite a long way to go in the contracting process as well. Quite a few guys that we still need to get over the line but in terms of those 12 guys signing, brilliant.”
