WATCH: Adrian Breen “We managed to keep a level head and drive on”

The Limerick SHC drew to a close last night with Na Piarsaigh the last team standing and claiming a 5th Daly Cup title since 2011.

Sporting Limerick caught up with Adrian Breen in the aftermath of the game and the corner forward was understandably thrilled with his side’s success and says going back to back is something the group were extremely focused on.

“It is the first time we have put them back to back. It has been a huge motivational factor for us this year being labelled a kind of every second year team. That’s not what great champions are made of, they should be able to put back to back titles together, show a bit of consistency and your own drive, your own standards to do so. I feel like this is a huge moment for this particular team.”
