Treaty’s Waterford clash cancelled due to weather conditions

The sides had been due to face off for the third time this season, but following torrential rain on Shannonside Friday, the game has been postponed.

The League of Ireland First Division game between Treaty United and Waterford has been cancelled following a pitch inspection, the club has confirmed.

The sides had been due to face off for the third time this season, but following torrential rain on Shannonside Friday, the game has been postponed.

Details about the rearranged fixture are to be released in due course, while each side now looks forward to their next outing.

Both are in action in the FAI Cup, as Treaty welcome Premier Division side Cork City to Markets Field, while Waterford face a trip to St Michael’s.
