It will be a meeting of the Munster and Leinster champions in the All-Irealnd final in Killeedy in a fortnight’s time after the weekend’s last four ties.
A last-minute free from David Browne was the difference as Bruff booked their place in the Junior B Hurling Championship All-Ireland final over the weekend.
In Killeedy, there was nothing to separate the sides in normal time as they headed into the additional period deadlocked at 0-12 apiece.
But with time almost up in the game’s 83rd minute, Browne fired over his 11th of the afternoon to send the South Limerick men into the All-Ireland final.
Bruff looked destined for the All-Ireland final late in extra-time before a goal from the Kilkenny side looked likely to send the tie to penalties. But Browne held his nerve to ensure the February 25th final berth.
And the Limerick side were reliant on Browne to keep their hopes alive in normal time as he clipped over the final two scores of the first hour to ensure there would be an added twenty minutes.
It was a nip and tuck opening first half where the teams exchanged the lead before St Martins grabbed the lead score before the turn of ends that left it 0-6 to 0-5 in their favour.
And they were able to double that scoreline heading into the final minutes of normal time but a pair of Browne frees levelled proceedings once more.
In injury time, scores from Browne and Ross O’Brien had them 0-17 to 0-14 clear before Russell Kealy goaled to bring the sides level.
Yet, there was just enough time for Browne to cap an incredible display and help his side into the All-Ireland final where they will meet Leinster champions Sarsfields after they overcame Thurles Sarsfields on Sunday afternoon.
