FIXTURES: Semi-Final spots up for grabs in final round of Limerick Ladies Football Senior & Intermediate Championships

The third round of games in the 3Dental Limerick Senior, Intermediate, Junior A and Junior B Championships will take place this weekend.

In the Senior and Intermediate grades, this is the final round of group games with the semi final spots are up for grabs in three of the four groups.

In group one of the senior championship, Monagea take on St t Brigids where a win win will see them through. St Brigids need a big win to overcome their scoring differential to advance The other group is far more complicated with draws in the opening round meaning it’s anyone’s guess who advances between Ballylanders, Old Mill and last year’s champions St Ailbes.

The 2021 Monagea Ladies Senior Football team prior to their Round one win over Feohanagh Castlemahon

In the Intermediate championship Mungret are safely through while the winners of Murroe Boher and Fr Caseys will join them in advancing from group two. In the other group, another win for defedning champions Drom Broadford will see them top the group ahead of Oola. A Knockainey win will see it go to points differential.

There are three rounds of games left to play in the Junior Championships.

Check out the Round II results.
