ICYMI: Intercounty season to continue as planned with Limerick in action next weekend

While there has been some confusion in light of the GAA’s suspension on activities and the move into level 3, elite sports will continue on Ireland.

As such, Limerick will resume their Allianz National League campaign next Sunday in Mick Neville Park with a clash with Wexford.

Limerick are currently top of the table after winning their first four games before losing to Antrim in their final game before the lockdown.

As such they are one point ahead of Northern side who lie on 7 points.

Wexford are a point further back, level with Wicklow and Sligo who Limerick play on the final day.

A win over Wexford could seal promotion but two wins from their last pair of games would definitely secure top spot in the table.

According to RTE reports, teams that cannot field a team will have to forfeit games.
