John Kiely makes one change for Clare with Declan Hannon named from the start

The three in a row winning All-Star drops to the bench after being sent off in the opening round against Waterford.

John Kiely has made one change to his Limerick side to take on Clare in the TUS Gaelic Grounds in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship this Saturday.

Into the team comes Cathal O’Neill as he replaces Gearoid Hegarty. The three in a row winning All-Star drops to the bench after being sent off in the opening round against Waterford. O’Neill was introduced as a substitute last time out and started in the league final earlier this month.

Elsewhere, it’s as it was in Thurles with Declan Hannon named from the start. The Adare man was forced off in the first half against the Deise but is set to start at centre-back.

A second successive win would put Limerick in a strong position ahead of a three week break to their encounter with Tipp in Thurles.

Throw in on Saturday evening is 7pm with the game live on GAAGO.
