John the Baptist Harty Cup quarter final to take place in Dundrum

The fixtures for Wednesday’s Harty Cup quarter finals have been revealed with Limerick’s sole representative in the final eight, John The Baptist Community School, playing Thurles CBS in Dundrum.

John The Baptist are bidding for their first ever Harty Cup and are facing a Thurles CBS school that have won the competition eight times and have finished runners up on 10 occasions.

The Hospital based school are unbeaten in this years competition and have had victories over Blackwater Community School Lismore and Our Lady’s Secondary School Templemore. The game will be refereed by Waterford’s Thomas Walsh.
