The sides will play to see who advances to next week’s McGrath Cup final.
Limerick’s McGrath Cup clash with Tipperary has been moved to Fethard Community Astrotruf Pitch it was confirmed on Thursday evening.
The tie throws in on Saturday afternoon at 2pm with a place in the McGrath Cup final on offer for the winner.
Both were victorious over Waterford in their opening encounter, Limerick winning by 17-points while Tipperary had a 2-14 to 0-7 win in Dungarvan.
Ray Dempsey has named his side for the clash with three changes to the team that beat the Deise last Wednesday. Jack Ryan, Iain Corbett and Donal O’Sullivan come into the team with a raft of positional changes.
The winner will play either Clare or Cork in the final next Wednesday. They meet on Sunday where Clare need a seven-point win to earn a final berth. Anything else and Cork will advance.
Limerick were last crowned McGrath Cup champions in 2020 when they bested Cork. Tipperary haven’t reached the final since 2013, with their previous success coming ten years previously.
Limerick play Tipperary in Fethard this Saturday January 14 in the McGrath Cup.
