LISTEN: Nash prepared for “tough task” against Cork

The Limerick Camogie team take on Cork this Sunday in the Munster Camogie league semi-final.

There has been much controversy ahead of the fixture as it directly clashes with the club league finals across the county and also the Munster Ladies Football clash with Tipperary on Saturday evening.

However, the fixture stands and ahead of the game, Limerick manager is looking forward to the clash against the Rebel county.

“Going to be a tough ask. But it’s championship time and I’m looking forward to it and glad to be back in competition after the way the league finished.”

Limerick take on a Cork team that are the reigning and defending All-Ireland champions.

Their recent record in the competition speaks for itself and Nash will be aware of the potency of the opposition.

Limerick however, can take spirit from their first ever Munster victory over Cork a couple of years back as they look to repeat the trick.

“Everyone knows what to expect from Cork. they are always there or there abouts. We’ve shown in our day that we can turn them over but we need to be on the top of our game at the weekend.”
