Listen: UL manager DJ Collins predicting a “dogfight” semi final against UCC

UL senior ladies footballer manager DJ Collins is expecting a huge challenge when his side face UCC in the O’Connor Cup semi-final on Saturday.

“They’re like those neighbours that you have to face every time. You can’t win a Championship without beating them.”

It is the tenth year in a row that Collins is involved in the competition’s weekend and he is delighted that the unique structure is being retained.

“I’m quite happy to promote to keep the weekends… It’s what makes the college competition so different.”
