Munster’s Keith Earls and Niall Scannell to train this week ahead of Leicester clash

The Munster pair have been out for the last number of weeks

The Munster squad returned to training today at the High Performance Centre in UL ahead of another crucial Champion Cup tie with Leicester this Sunday.

Niall Scannell (thumb) and Keith Earls (hamstring) are expected to return to training this week following their rehab for their respective injuries.

James Cronin, who tore his calf for the Barbarians fixture against Tonga is also expected to take part in limited training this week.

Earls hasn’t featured for the province since injuring his hamstring whilst in Carton house on International duty whilst Scannell needed surgery on a thumb injury he picked up in the draw with Castres.
