Preview | Limerick look to make it three from three against Carlow in National Ladies Football League

Limerick continue their Lidl National Football League campaign on Sunday as they are hosted by Carlow

Limerick Ladies go into this round 3 tie at the top of the table with two wins from two for maximum points.

Carlow find themselves at the bottom of the table after two back to back losses. As such, the game is dead rubber with Limerick qualified as table toppers and Carlow resigned to bottom of the pile.

Limerick have previously defeated London with score line of 2-9 to 0-9 and they also defeated Offaly in the following round with a thumping score line of 3-4 to 1-6. With both these wins Limerick Ladies are all but through in the group.

For Carlow, they suffered a 3-15 to 0-7 loss to Offaly in round one and were then defeated by London with a score line of 2-5 to 1-13 to knock them out of the reckoning.

Limerick will be joined in the last four by one of London or Offaly who meet in the other game in the group.

Leitrim currently top the 4A standings with Fermanagh in second. Limerick will face the runners up of that group in the League semi-finals.

The game this Sunday will be streamed live by the LGFA and can be watched here.
