Record number of Clubs to contest the Limerick Minor Football Championship.

The Minor Championship was launched recently at the Woodlands Hotel in Adare. It promises to be a very exciting championship with Murroe/Boher, Old Mill, Oola, St Ailbes, Adare, St Brigids, Mungret/St Paul’s, Knockainey, Casey/Colbert and Drom/Monagea competing for top honours.

Division 2 will be all County, with Ahane, Feo/Castlemahon, Ballylanders, Gerald Griffins, Galtee Gales and St Senans competing for the title.

The championship will commence this Saturday, 15 October, with the following open Round Matches:

Mungret/St Paul’s v Old Mill
Adare v Casey/Colberts
Drom/Monagea v Bye
Oola v St Brigids
St Ailbes v Knockainey
Murroe/Boher v Bye
Ballylanders v Ahane
Gerald Griffins v St Senans
Galtee Gaels v Feo/Castlemahon
