Something for the Weekend | Old-Firm Derby, Arsenal v United and more in cracking weekend of sport

Ahead of a busy weekend of sport, here’s what you need to know!

Another weekend of Soccer is upon us with action from the European leagues. Treaty take on Cobh Ramblers while the Airtricity League continues on RTE. The Old-Firm derby takes place on Sky Sports Football in the first meeting between Celtic and Rangers this season.

In the Premier League, there’s action all across the weekend, with Arsenal and Man United’s clash being the pick of the bunch on Sunday.

The 2022 Made in Himmerland in Denmark is next on the DP World Tour and that takes place across the weekend.

Formula 1 returned last week and it continues this week with the Dutch Grand Prix taking place on Sunday. Max Verstappen was the winner here last year and will be pushing closer to the Drivers’ Championship if history can repeat itself.

Rugby begins on Friday night with Munster facing London Irish in their second pre-season fixture. They lost last time out against Gloucester but it’s an another game for Munster to prepare with Rowntree at the helm.

Meanwhile, Rugby Championship action continues between the four countries, with action kicking off early on Saturday morning.
