Sporting Limerick to livestream legends charity clash between Tipperary and Limerick

The game takes place on Saturday afternoon in Boher with all proceeds going to Crumlin Children’s hospital.

“Old rivalries never die” and that will be the case on Saturday afternoon as legends from Limerick and Tipperary take to the pitch in Boher for a charity clash.

Some of the best to grace the Munster rivals over the years will once more line out this weekend with all proceeds going to Crumlin’s Children’s hospital.

Throw in is at 2pm in Boher and the game will be streamed live by Sporting Limerick by anyone who cannot make the event.

Some of the confirmed players include Limerick legends like Steve McDonagh, Tom Condon, Mark Foley and Ciaran Carey as well as some local Murroe Boher players including the Tobin brothers, Pat, Sean and Kevin.

The Limerick team will be managed by Eamonn Cregan and Richie Bennis.

All-Ireland winners Brendan Cummins, Paul Curran and Eoin Kelly are some of the players that will represent Tipperary on the day.

Tickets for the game can be bought here or on the day.

The Liam MacCarthy cup will be present on the day with a number of Limerick’s current stars to join including Cian Lynch, Aaron Gillane, Diarmaid Byrnes, David Reidy, Barry Nash and more.

Boher native Alan Foley is organising the event with a raffle and prizes at Pa McGrath’s pub in Boher after the game.
