The Limerick native joins Jack Lynch and Joe Collins who announced their departures in October.
Treaty United have confirmed that Limerick native Joel Coustrain has left the club as he signs for Aisling Annacotty. Coustrain was one on the first ever Treaty United squad, scoring their first goal in a pre season friendly against Waterford FC in 2021.
He will join Limerick premier division club Aisling Annacotty after two seasons in the Airtricity First Division with Treaty United.
In total, he made 45 appearances since signing last year, scoring his only goal in the League opener against Wexford FC in 2022. He was a part of the Treaty United squad that reached successive First Division play-offs.

Joel was one of the 26 players that formed the first Treaty United Senior Men’s squad and scored the first ever men’s goal in a friendly against Waterford FC on March 2nd, 2021.
Joel made 45 appearances over two seasons, scoring one competitive goal for Treaty United on the opening night of the 2022 season when Treaty United defeated Wexford FC.

Coustrain began his career in Limerick before moving to England with Sheffield United. He joined Raith Rovers before returning to Ireland where he lined out with Shamrock Rovers. He had a stint with Athlone Town before joining Treaty.
