WATCH: Kyle Hayes and Natal O’Grady react to Kildimo Pallaskenry promotion

Last night Kildimo Pallaskenry sealed their place in the Senior ranks of Limerick hurling when they beat Mungret St Pauls 0-22 to 1-13 in the Premier Intermediate Hurling Final.

The victory has them in the top tier of Limerick hurling for the first time since the 1940’s and speaking after the match, captain Kyle Hayes was lost for words with the result.

“It’s unbelievable to be honest. Hard to put into words. Been fighting for this for the past three years. To achieve it now is unbelievable.”

His manager Natal O’Grady echoed Hayes’ thoughts after righting the wrongs of the 2019 final.

“There’s a bright future ahead.”
