5 Limerick players selected in GAA Hurling Team of The Week

Diarmaid Byrnes, Dan Morrissey, Darragh O’Donovan, Kyle Hayes and Tom Morrissey all represent Limerick in this week’s GAA.ie hurling team of the week.

Byrnes was again both calm and commanding in the half back line while also chipping in with a point from play while Dan Morrissey was rewarded with the Sunday Game’s man of the match award following his superb performance from wing back.

O’Donovan pulled the strings in the midfield while also scoring 0-3 – one of those points coming from a beautiful sideline cut in the second half.

Hayes was influential from the half forward line putting three points over the bar in the process as was Tom Morrissey who claimed 0-4 from play with two of those points proving crucial in the later stages of the game.
