Four goal Treaty keep play-off hopes alive | Highlights

It remained all square to the break with Edogun continuing his fine form, finishing cooly on the hour mark to give Treaty the lead.

Treaty United kept their slim play-off hopes alive with a comfortable 4-1 win over Athlone Town in the Markets Field.

A late double from Stephen Christopher sealed the result with Marc Ludden and Success Edogun also getting on the scoresheet.

Treaty had initially fallen behind in the tenth minute but restored parity when Ludden netted from the spot after Jack Kavanagh handballed on the Athlone line.

It remained all square to the break with Edogun continuing his fine form, finishing cooly on the hour mark.

Christopher had his first in the 72nd minute to give the hosts a cushion before finding the net in the fourth minute of injury time.

Treaty still remain seven points adrift of Wexford Town who have a game in hand. The Limerick side are back in action this Saturday when they travel to Longford.
