Two crucial Senior A games head up the evening’s hurling action | Saturday Hurling Fixtures

The championships kicked off last night with six games across the top four grades.

There are ten more games to digest this evening ranging from the senior down to the junior grade with games in each of the four championships.

Senior

There are a pair of crucial group one clashes this evening including Kilmallock taking on Doon in a repeat of last year’s semi-final. Kilmallock came out the right side twelve months ago where only a point separated the teams.

Elsewhere, Kildimo Pallskenry kick off their group one campaign against Ahane in a game that is likely to have huge consequences on the remainder of the championship.

County Senior Hurling Championship Group 1     

Kilmallock v Doon, Saturday August 5th in Bruff at 7.00pm

Premier Intermediate

We are into round two of the Limerick PICH with three of the four games to be played on Saturday evening. Interestingly none of the round one winners are paired with Effin, Blackrock and Bruff all looking for a second successive win.

County Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship Round 2

Effin v Dromin Athlacca, Saturday August 5th Kilmallock at 7.00pm  

Newcastle West v Blackrock, Saturday August 5th in Ballyagran at 7.00pm  

Glenroe v Bruff, Saturday August 5th in Kilfinane at 7.00pm


Intermediate

The intermediate championship continues with the meeting of Murroe Boher and Feohanagh, two of the pre championship favourites.

Junior

The biggest championship in Limerick hurling continues with four games on Saturday evening with a certain Cathal O’Neill in action for Crecora Manister against the 2021 champions Caherline.
