Treaty United manager Tommy Barrett cut a happy figure after a 0-2 victory over Cobh Ramblers on Saturday night. An own-goal from Darren Murphy and a Matt McKevitt strike in the 90th minute provided the side with their third victory in a row.
Before the beginning of the second round of fixtures, during discussions with our own Adrian Finnin, Barrett intimated that he would like to see his side turn more draws into victories and is delighted that it has occurred so far.
“You have to (change draws into wins). Because sometimes you are better off winning 2 and losing 3 in a five game period than drawing all five. For us its all about being tight and grinding out results. We cant afford to get complacent”
