An exceptional season came to an end for the Limerick Senior Footballers as they lost out to Tipperary, 1-15 to 2-11 in the Munster semi-final on Saturday.
Speaking after the game, manager Billy Lee said,
“We are disappointed, and it does feel like heartbreak but at the end of the day I’m proud of the lads and that’s just way it goes, it’s football.”
“Ultimately it comes down to the 60-70 minutes of football and extra time in this case and on the day they edged it and there is no more about it – congratulations to them and best of luck to them.”
