Both sides will be in provincial final action on the the same afternoon on the first weekend of December.
The times, date and venues for the 2022 Munster Club Hurling Championship finals have been confirmed with two Limerick sides in action.
Both Monaleen and St Kierans will be in action on Sunday December 4 with the former in the Junior decider and the latter seeking intermediate honours.
Monaleen face Tipperary champions Roscrea in Pairc Ui Rinn with throw in for the Intermediate final at 1pm. At the same time on the same day, St Kierans take on defending Junior champions Ballygiblin in Mallow.
The Senior final between Ballygunner and Ballyea is fixed for Semple Stadium on Saturday 3 December at 3.15pm.
Monaleen have already bettered their 2016 run where they were bested by eventual winners Kilmoyley in the semi-finals. That year they had to come through a quarter-final clash with St Josephs Doora Barefield and they repeated the feat last weekend, this time in the semi-finals.
Roscrea were impressive en route to capturing the Tipperary Premier Intermediate Championship following their relegation in 2021. They have backed that form up with a comprehensive win over Ballysaggart in the quarters before a 1-17 to 3-9 victory against Inniscarra last Saturday.
St Kierans will be looking to go one better than 2012 when they were beaten by Cork’s Kildorrery in the Munster final. They will be up against it this time around as they meet the defending champions Ballygiblin, The Cork outfit were bested in the All-Ireland final earlier this year but remained in Junior following the restructuring of the county championship in Cork. Kierans needed extra-time to get past the Banner at the weekend while Ballygiblin saw off Colligan.
